What I did this summer...
If you caught one of my gigs at the end of last year year and thought, man shes packing on the pounds...no, I wasn't gorging on meat pies, yes I was pregnant.So I am proud to announce that Isla May Goodwin arrived on January 14th, weighing 7 lb 14 oz. She is super cute has has a full head of dark hair.
Now February is upon us and the weather here in Dunedin has been brilliant, I am itching to come out of hibernation and get back into my performing again...I have seriously been missing it.
I have found being home and not stressing about a day job at the moment seriously good for my creative juices... my mind is clear and songs keep coming to me...cant wait to get the band to bring them to life.
Joe and I have some dates lined up at the Terrace bar...the 1st being Friday Feb 12th, and I am really looking forward to it.
I am sad to say that Simon has resigned from the Mighty Mightys to take on some different projects, and his drumming will be missed. Thanks to simon for his work last year.
Here is a pic of my wee angel...not so angelic when she is grizzling and making horrible wet noises out her rare end...must get that from her dad.
